Inspired by . . . for the love of B&W

I was over commenting on Pat's {BaileyRoad} lovely song sparrow, saying how I should do more in black & white when I remembered Kim's prompt for this week:

for the love of ______? whatever comes to mind.....

So on a Sunday afternoon, when the sky look like this . . .

  1. In the maze of constant stimulation of color and noise and all that pulls at our attention, there's something very sane and compelling about black and white. These spoke peace to me this morning, June. Thank you for this offering ...

  2. Those are truly awesome shots. Those railroad tracks are inspiring, could be a cover to a novel. Great job, June.

  3. Wow, I love how that "grasses" photo turned out with the oil paint edit. I love b&w too, but I can never seem to go that route with my own photos. Maybe because I take so many bird photos and to mute all their colors wouldn't seem right. I should be trying it on other things, though. Thanks for the reminder!
